A scandal will break on the Island this summer, and Feast Dinner Theatres wants you to hear every salacious detail.

The Feast’s latest production “Scandalous” will take audiences into the heart of P.E.I. political intrigue. As a group of residents lobbies for free crossings on the Confederation Bridge, a prominent personality winds up dead, and a high-powered fixer swoops in for the cover-up.

This dinner theatre offers an evening of guilt-free indulgence in deceit and rumour — all while enjoying a four-course dinner, classic music favourites, and comedy by some of the region’s top performers.

“There’s something for everybody – romance, suspense, and a bunch of laughter,” says scriptwriter Mike Allison, who is also head writer for beloved television comedy “This Hour Has 22 Minutes.”

Allison describes “Scandalous” as packed with intricate twists and turns — plus the trademark comedy, dining, and music Feast lovers have come to expect.

Director Sherri-Lee Darrach says she’s particularly excited about the cast, which includes a rich mix of Feast veterans and newcomers.

Darrach and music director Adam MacGregor have also been collaborating with Halifax-based Garry Williams, whose expertise in music theatre will further add to the harmonies, choreography, and high energy of the show.

Admission includes an evening of entertainment and dining complete with fresh Island salad, homemade bread, the Feast’s famous mussels, salmon or chicken entree, and dessert.
